While we're on the subject of expensive intakes, has anyone ever tried the Harrop Hurricane intake? I love how it looks and the idea of individual TBs per intake runner.

Wow, I have never seen that before, how much does that cost?

I like the cross ram intake on the top of the page too. Sweet!

its almost half price of the harrop... but still in the 3 grand range with CF ramtubef IIRC...

supposed to make a BIG cam idle like a purring kitty and add tonns of midrange torque and Hp, but not outshine a super vic by more than 20 Hp on the top...

but its about the coolest intake ive ever seen ;-)
and it fits under a stock hood

Base price for the Kinsler cross ram - less most of the goodies - is $6,400 (with injectors and rails). Fully set up including FAST ECU and programming they want $11,669.60 - prices may have changed a bit but that is the last quote I have for it.

Both of those intakes are sick. Im going to talk to the boss about using one of those on a car.

Weiand says its still in production and shoud be ready the end of January. I guess thats as far as he could get today. We have a deadline to meet, so not much time to do other things.

What intake is SLP's kit? And why did you include the Warrior when it's not available anyway?

Take it easy on him he's new. Look at his join date. Unless you're going to use a FAST, I'd say ls6 is the way to go. Both Weiand and Edlebrock have brand new intakes coming out which are claiming greats numbers for much cheaper than a Fast. As far as I know neither are available right now, and the Warrior keeps getting pushed back each month.

Well it depends on his Engine, I can't tell from the Pics if it's a L92 or a regular Cathedral Port Engine.
