I don't think it's a question of lots of people wanting high powerbands... it's that a lot of folks are running 400+ inches these days with strokers.

(I could be wrong about this.... just a guess)

Then the Weiand from 3000 RPM to 6000 RPM???

Then the FAST from 6000 to 7000 RPM???

This Weiand may work best for 4L60-E cars that need the TQ, but don't operate very well over 6500 RPM?

Can't wait to find out!
Then explain the torque production of L92 heads.

Intake runner size is a factor, however, shape is more important.

There are more factors involved, runner volume is just one of the factors...

Just more internet vomit. Every L92 build I've seen makes great low and mid numbers. Even my little 403 L92 build makes 380RWT at 2200RPM with these low end destroying heads.

Personally, I think a manifold that peaks at 6k or a little better would be great for my street car if it gave me another 30-40 under that.

My $.02

i think something equal in flowing , or similar to the ls7 intake, that still makes great midrange, but will pull past 6500 rpm. and that will of course fit under the hood. i spoke to the guys at FAST and they said they have the intake for l92 and ls7 on the dyno right doing testing. they are going to try to make the mnaifold the same for both heads. but have a interchangeable bottom portion. we'll see how that turns out.

Exactly my thoughts... plus I want to be able to spin it to about 7200 and still make steam.

I'd also like to see provisions for direct port nozzles. I don't see why you wouldn't they don't look like much. Anyone that knows anything about these cars would notice you have an intake that's not stock. For the rest of them they would never notice.

Any word on whether or not it alters the position of the TB in relation to stock (more forward for example)?

Thanks

Exactly if it really beats the Fast by 15RW from 3000 to 5000 and then equals it to 6500 I'll buy one as soon as they come out....

Me likey TORQUE

This looks like a great intake! I may have to replace my l92 with one of these when they are available.

Just like JS said, if it is better than a FAST through the midrange and breaks even up to 6200-6300, then it will be a winner for street guys who rarely see rpms above 6300.

With having 3.73 gears instead of 4.10s, midrange torque is critical. But right now I'd spinning tires once I hit 3500-4000 in second and third, but who doesn't want more poewr.
