15 Hp at peak doesn't tell the story. Your other quote is key.
The LS6 hangs pretty close wuth a FAST until 6200 or so and then it fall off. That doesn't mean the FAST is a better bang for the buck but it WILL make a little more power on a car spinning a little higher.

At a 6800 shift point the FAST is making a lot more than 15 HP over the LS6 manifold. It typically is good for .2 to .3. Port it and the gain in midrange torque is big too.
