I'm running 11.85 comp. with shitty 91 onctane out here in CA and it runs fine. There has been a few times where i've thrown a splash of 110 in the tank when it was over 95* and i knew i was going to be driving the **** out of it. but that's just for peice of mind .

However... 11.5:1 would be ideal I think...

in order to run .030 cometics your pistons woudl have to be inthe hole a bit or you will hit the heads at even amoderate rpm
