I hope they are just busy taking pics of the finished lid. The people are getting restless.

Im pretty sure theyre not making it. Get a FT85 and call it a day. The ID on on a FT85 is supposedly 98mm, so its bigger than they say it is.

that was kind of retarded to call it the 85 then.

Seriously TSP, you ARE losing customers because you are not updating us. This is getting ridiculous. We know you guys are active on the forum, we know you know about this thread, yet you can't follow up... what gives? It would be courteous to your customers to let us know what the deal is with this lid. Take a look at the original date of this thread, its been a while; yet you guys have posted, what... twice in here?

I know I'm not the only one who is considering the FT85 now. Reason why? You haven't given me ANY confidence that you are actually working on this. ONE update saying a test lid will be ready in a week. That was nearly a month and a half ago! It shows a lack of care for your customers. If you guys shrug this off as "oh well, a couple people dropped off, so what? there will be lots of other people wanting this.", then that is pretty poor business sense. If you guys do really care about us, then show it and give us an update. Anything, something!

My 85mm MAF fit snugly in the FTP lid. Nothing bigger will fit, trust me.

They say is a 98id, but thats just the measurement where it bulges out so the maf can fit. the actual throat is only about 90mm or so. Its still the best flowing lid out there though

Oh gotcha. I haven't had a chance to measure it yet. According to Patrick G, most lids can be cut back to make a 100mm opening if you are running a 100maf or 100mm pipe in between the tb and lid.
