I heard the place that was making DR heads went out of business, then I heard a cylinder head company in Detroit has picked up the job

The Heads are available now.
A few people have them already.
I saw them at the LSX Shootout in St.Louis back in October.

Scoggin-Dicky had them on display.

Nice in-line valve head.

I know that John is busy on the phones trying to take all the orders for GM Performance Parts. I will lend a hand and post these pics from GM Media.

You will notice 2 holes in the intake port. One is the cutaway from a rocker arm boss, the other is for the valve cover hole. Make sure to use thread sealant for those!

The seats have been touched by the CNC mill also. I think I got a good enough pic of that. Also I guess a revision is to NOT have those rings around the ports.

Its also apparent that they press the guides in after they CNC. They also have a knurling at the top, so valve stem seal re-use is negated lol.

I am not sure how long this set will be on the shelf, so if you want some measurements, let me know ASAP!!!!

And that is one HUGE pushrod hole!

Yep, many times on many flow benches.

I was told that they flowed 440 at .850 range and were clean past 1.00" of lift.

I have a set of the prototypes that we did a little larger than the CT configuration. That port design went 438 CFM at .900" past 1.050" of lift.

Of course lets not get wrappped up in flow numbers. They just give an indication of the potential. The beauty of these heads is that they also have good velocity and a nice chamber design.

Hey Guy's i have an LSX454 in my GTO 2002 Coupe HSV.
My mechanic the idiot forgot to put lash caps on so in under 1000km i have dropped a valve into the engine and destroyed a piston.

What im wondering is how possible is it to get a set of the unported version of the DR heads and modify it to suit an LS7 FAST 102 intake manifold.

Also before it all went to **** and the valve dropped we made 597HP at the wheels on pump fuel on a mainline dyno.
I was able to wheel spin at 160km/h when shifting into 4th....lol

here is the video:

Ohh yeah and i still think our HSV bodykit for the GTO is way way better than the pontiac version.....haha

anyone got anything they can tell me about modding these to fit an ls7 intake fast 102mm.

Does anyone think they will be any better or will the manifold be a restriction and they wont make anymore power compared to the ported lsx ls7 6bolt heads im using now.
