Morel and Lunati lifers are identical pieces, FWIW...

We are having problems with morel solid lifters in a warhawk block at the moment. We are having them fixed right know.
I have some jessel stuff in stock
Call the shop if you need some help

hey Nick,

It looks like with just the warhawk. It has to do with the edge orfice that sends oil up the pushrod. It is croos drilled and "falls'' into the oil galley allowing all the oil to flow up the pushrod. We sent them back to morel to have one side plugged.
When they get back I will make a post about it with pics.
FWIW the jesel is already plugged.

Most Solid Roller lifters do not work with the LS1 at all including many that even say they do. You also have to know what you are really doing with the engine to pick which lifter to use as in lobe lift and spring pressure etc. Some Morels work and some do not. It all depends.

which one do you get?

do u get the cam and all the spec's first and ring the lifter mob of your choice

Too much to get into for an internet thread basically. There's a lot to go wrong and you just have to know how it all works. I have had to return most "LS1" solid roller lifters that people have supplied me with and use what I know works with that lobe lift and design etc. Several of the solid rollers will lose nearly all your oil pressure and some cannot mechanically accomodate that much lift and some require extensive block modifications to not bind up. When you get into the really bigger lobe lift stuff it just gets even worse.

for my solid build i am going to be goin with a bullet solid cam and bullet solid lifters.
bullet and lunati are also 2 of the same company
