Default 403 LS2 w/Stock LS6 Heads???

Ok guys, I was looking at buying a 403 ls2 stroker this weekend and would like to know a few things. The 403 has some pretty good parts in it, Such as Diamond -2cc Flat top forged pistons, Forged Compstar rods with ARP2000 rod bolts, and a K1 Crankshaft (Forged) all from Speed Inc. Now it also has a 248/254 614/620 110 lsa camshaft in it and Patriot dual valvesprings with retainers (.650 lift) Also a SLP Oil Pump and an ASP underdrive pulley
The induction part of it includes an LS6 Intake 42 LB SVO Green Top Injectors, stock TB, & Nasty Performance Polished Fuel Rails
The exhaust is PS LT's with 3" Rumbler X True Duals from TSP!
The kicker is..... The fact that it has STOCK 243 heads on it.
So with this in mind, How much power would I be looking at with this combo in my 98 Z28 with an Automatic Trans., 4000 stall, and 3.42 gears and the heads being stock. Obviously they would be a restriction, but how much power would I be sacrificing by running these heads until I get the rest of my setup together.
I basically just want the car to run mid to low 11's with the 243 ls6 heads and then I'll upgrade to the AFR or TFS Heads later down the road. Does that sound possible with that setup???
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance...

James

Mid 11's should be possible depending on the traction. I run 11.5 with the 346 and ls6 heads. 224 cam.

That motor has to be 450 to 475 flywheel . They weigh about 3700 lbs with driver if it is in full dress. If you consider a 11.50@120 that will be No Problem at all provided that the motor was built by a professional . I would say that you will be in the low to mid 11's . Those 243 heads flow fairly well .

You should still make about 460rwhp with that setup and have a **** load of torque, probably about 450. When you upgrade the heads, then you will surpass the 500rwhp mark IMO.

Buddy of mine made 470/470 with his 408. Had LS6 intake stock 241 heads and greentop injectors. Without a dished piston you are going to have a good amount of compression. Might want to check it and see if its pumpgas friendly.

Please don't listen to this guy!! (low to mid 11's ?) he doesn't know what he's talking about.. I don't care if you use stock unported heads and mac mid length headers on that build. If the car didn't go at least 10.90 @123+mph I would set it on fire!! You can go 11.50 with a cam only, full weight, stock bottom end car!! I went 10.99@122mph with a H/C/I full weight stock bottom end Z28 Camaro!! Check out my sig!!

OK Guys, Thanks for all of the input so far. I was worried like crazy that the motor was going to be a poor running motor simply b/c of restrictive heads. I was hoping for mid 11's and it seems like you all agree it to be possible. So with that in mind I think I'm gonna get the motor for sure. I hope everything goes as planned. Also 1 guy posted that a full weight car weighs about 3700 lbs with driver?? I had my car weighed at the local scrapyard (took in a catalytic converter to see how much my car weighed ) and it weighed in at 3340 with me in it. I weigh 122 lbs, so that would put the car at 3,218 lbs. So the car SHOULD haul *** if I can hook the damn thing! Well I'll post back and let everyone know if I get the 403 or not, and I'm going out on a test drive with the guy who is selling it to me- Tomorrow! Hope the things purrs like a pissed off kitten!
Thanks again everyone...

Ok so I went and looked at the motor today... Heard it run, and rode along for about a 20 minute ride. The 403 has PLENTY of power, especially for my likings... I feel confident about getting the engine and I'm waiting for the guy to pull it out of the car and I should have the 403 in the Z for next summer. Thanks guys for your advice!

He wants $4,000 for the complete turn key 403 ls2 stroker. Comes with LS6 intake, 42lb svo inj., Nasty Perf. Fuel Rails, PS LT's, Prothane Motor mounts, Knock Sensor Harness, PCM, and sensors....ETC!
Between 400-500 miles at most on the engine! Runs HARD! We went out and from a 20 roll we was at 70 in no time! At Half Throttle! Spinning the Drag Radials like crazy... It Was Cold out though.
