Default Anyone have a ms3 cam in a ls2 motor?

If so then give me your review on it.

I have a ls2 block ported ls6 heads and a fast 90/90 with all other bolt-ons going in my 2000 a4 camaro 3.73 gear and 3600 vig.

I want to know what cam to go with that will take full advantage of the ls2 364 ci. and being streetable, and make great power to 6800-7000

I have also been tooking at the tv2 cam

I just built an aluminum 402 with Patriot heads, ported Fast and MS3. Here is my dyno sheet. Numbers are lower than everyone expected, but car still runs strong.

Also, here is a quick vid at VIR going from 40 to 149 mph:

what cam would you recommend? I have the ls2 with home ported ls6 heads, going fast 90, full bolt ons , 3.73 , 3600, 3,300 race weight. i loved the street ability of my tr224 but could sacrifice more for another 15-20hp.

^^There is no difference in the Cams, the difference is on the Cam Timing Sprocket.

I went with the tsp torque v2 cam 232 234 .595 .598 113. Just got the car running tonight, Will have a video soon. Car pulls a lot harder up top, in the mid and down low with torque. I bet there is anothere 30 hp with a fast 90/90. I still have my ls6 due to short funds.

I did that on a SBC build and got 3 completely different cams that weren't even close to the same.

Talk to Pat G or Pred Z or call up your favorite sponsor. You'll do a lot better than going with someone from Comp Cams.

LMAO!

I emailed them detailed, detailed specs of my engine, valvetrain, car, etc etc etc. I ask them to spec me a cam for my solid roller build for mostly track use and checked off the section that specified race oriented.

I get an email back with an off the shelf hydraulic cam part number for mild street.

I replied to the email saying, umm, I have a solid roller valvetrain.

I think he **** himself in stupidity and/or went blind, never received an email back.

Long story short... I would talk to some of the board guru's

Close to those specs on my cam. You can see in my sig. It's a fun cam for sure. Especially now with the 4000rpm stall and TH400.
