Im very new to this website, and I got to tell you, I see this behavior all to often here. Im here to learn the tech about LS engines and educate myself about some of the new gm engine technology. Im building a 69 camaro that will have some of the most advanced suspension, hardware and drivetrain available. I dont give a crap if you can afford it or not, Hans seems to be the only one here who gets it, if you dont have any thing useful to add to the post ,stay the F out. I do know I wont be here long, too many punks. Lastly take a good look at the ls9 THE MOST TECHNOLOGICAL FACTORY POWER PLANT EVER PRODUCED- ITS CALLED ENGINEERING!!!! wake up!

If you want to complain about what **** costs, don't bother, because no body cares. Your posts simply are worthless, and clutter up a thread with useful information for people who maybe interested (not saying I am). Too many times do I see posts about pricing on products.

Lets not forget that this motor is THE most powerful motor EVER produced by GM. Its made to run at its power level for 100K miles with NO problems. Find that ANYWHERE else and you will NOT.
I could not have said it better.

Is this engine expensive? depends on your perspective

Could you build your own engine with that HP and Torque curve for less? maybe. Could you build your own and not worry about the little bugs or mechanical gremlins for 100k miles? Probably not. Could you find another crate engine with these specifications and durability for less? Nope!

The Charger Air Cleaner cover part number 12602066 lists for $2,932.76. That is the kit to do the top part of the supercharger. Then you have the supercharger part number 12625144 which I priced for you guys on Friday. The valley cover and intake gaskets are different also. If you guys have any questions PM me. I knew that price was to inexpensive for just the supercharger. I am selling the cover for 2,100 over the counter.

what about a full price for the whole supercharger setup with valley cover, everything you need to put it on your forged ls3, etc. Does the charger come with the injectors, and what is the flow of them?

at the present time, there is not a Supercharger kit available. You must buy the parts seperate.

The charger does not come with the injectors. I will have to call GM Partech to find out the flow on them.

I know it's a long shot but do these have any kind of warranty? I just see people implying that it's pretty much guaranteed to be problem free out of the box, just wondering.

Performance Crate motors have 24 month 50,000 mile warranty. Direct-replacement engines are 36 month 100,000 mile warranty. Short-Blocks are 24 months 24,000 miles warranty. Let me know if you need anything.

would this fit in an fbody; would the S/C interfere with the hood? The LSA might be a viable option. The price is nice and it sure as hell beats trying to build a motor w/ a blower. Does it bolt right up or do you have to relocate anything like the battery for the LS7?

i can't believe they're selling these as crate motors!

That is awesome! I wouldn't have thought they'd offer a warranty like that, but then again I've never looked at buying a crate motor. It's WAY out of my price range but I can dream. Again just wondering, but how far does that warranty go as far as mods? I mean, is there a boost limit? If you change/port the blower would that void the warranty?

I would say it would void the warranty if you modified the blower. I will try to get some installation info on an F-Body install.
