5.3L stroked
So it can use the 4" crank? Are there any clearance issues with the skirts or the camshaft?
I haven't made up my mind just yet. Still exploring options.

i posted this in the gen 3 section but no one responded. any help would be awesome thanks.
To answer your other question though; no, you cannot take a 5.3 block out to a 4.0" bore. The largest I've seen is 3.910 and that was a pure race setup we did with the waterjackets 50% Hardblok... Ger a 6.0L block for your 4.0" bore.
Hope this helps...

Got a ways to go until then, though. Right now I've just got Flowmaster 40s SI/DO and a Blackbear tune. I'm looking at headers for it now. Got my sights set on Pacesetter long tubes.
I just found out this forum, i have bein looking around for sometime now.
I have the 5.3 LY5, and instead of rebulding it, I plan to get an almost new 6.2 from a Denali and install it in my Sierra, if I do this , will the AWD and wiring harness/ PCM and TCM will make problems or it will swap easly and only programming is needed?
rebulding it in my country is soo expensive.
Thanks

And I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't say something along the lines of "Of course, you can get these and any other Wiseco products at competitive prices here at Texas Speed & Performance!"
