Every single time I've shipped a set of heads or received a set of heads that were shipped seperately they have arrived on different days. I shipped a set of heads to California and after the first one arrived the second got there 5 days later. I don't understand how I can hand them two boxes at the same time and then have them arrive to their destination on different days, but it has happened at least 5 times.

Hey, actually I havent done anything as far as the motor goes. sorry. I can't believe Ive just been sitting on those heads for 4 months now... depressing. Waiting on funds. also thinking about picking up a CETA to put the 454 in.

Other than that, I should be buying the rest of my topend very soon.

Im expecting around 570-580WHP with untouched LS7 heads.

I have a few decisions floating around in my head....

E85 vs 93 octane

PAC 1521 vs PRC EHT .675 Valve Springs

LS7 Lifters vs Morel

LS7 Rockers vs Something Else

Any opinions?

Thanks

If you can run E85 then do it but add more compression 12:5 I hear E85 work awesome I've seen 13compression C6 ZO6 making over 600rwhp at Corvette forum.
I've tested PRC EHT 675 springs in a couple of 660+ lift cams no problems for over 15k miles until now...

Morel Lifters IMO I've seen a lot problems with LS7 Lifters with H/C LS1/LS6 I dont know why..

Rockers I didnt use it myself but I hear YT is awesome..

Good luck man and keep us posted

There's nothing wrong with LS7 lifters. Of course someone somewhere is going to have a problem no matter what but that doesn't really mean anything because there's 100 boxes of LS7 lifters sold compared to 1 box of Morels. But yes Morels are nicer lifters.

Yea, im not sure how much room I have to play with my compression, but ill look into it.

Thats good info on the PRCs, i may use those instead, save a bit of cash.

Yea, I'm pretty set on the morels.

YTs are awesome, but I heard from Katech Jason that the stock LS7 rockers are very good.
