Yea, I heard a lot of good, seeing Carlos' results really got me excited about it, but now Im just gonna stick to 93 for awhile...

Im gonna be doing a lot of road trips this season, and I dont want to have a hard time finding fuel.

I just read through all 30 pages. The build looks nice Trevor. Stick with it and it will all come together for you in the end. I am having clutch problems myself and am thinking about picking up a Tick adjustable master since I just replaced the slave and clutch. Also, good luck with the electrical grimlins. I hate tracking down wiring problems. Be sure to keep the thread updated as I'll be watching it for updates!

Well a lot of progress lately, Ill post pictures soon :/

I got the engine harness all cleaned up, looks very clean. Would I do it again?... I hope I dont have to...

The engine/trans is ready to go in, Im just getting the bay ready for it... (brakes,clutch,etc...)

Should be back on the road soon, (if I dont have to keep traveling for work)

Well I've been pushing hard the past few days. and I finally got the engine back in Sunday, and heard her running just a few minutes ago! Sounds so good. Should have some videos up soon.

Exciting day today, after going through basically the entire car, looking for a messed up wire or something...

I ordered a new PCM, and that seemed to do the trick..

Just started a summer semester at school... Perfect timing, I know!

But, she is very close... The engine is ready to start street tuning, just have a few issues with the rest of the car, and then i'll be ready for some tuning.

So excited!

Alright guys... this N/A build thread has officially run it course...

I have sold my 454 shortblock and headers, and will continue to sell off other parts...

I ended up daily driving it for about 8 weeks and put ~1200miles on it.

The current plan right now is a 427 with a 106mm turbo... Still a street car/mile racing

Its been a fun build, and I can't wait to do it again.

I am going to look at a roller this weekend, and when I get that, I will start a new build thread... This one should be pretty interesting, I want to fabricate as much as I can, do some new ideas.

Yea, it was pretty scary putting the 454 up for sale... I wont deny that... I had a small panic attack..

But, I got enough out of it, that I can replace it with a boost ready 427 or so without feeling too stupid... I was going to just "give it a try" and see how I went, but I decided that if I did that, and it blew, I would be throwing $7k+ in the trash, and would have to tell 40 people on LS1tech "you were right"

I may end up going a little smaller, but we'll see.

btw, with your 454 LSX, do you get 50% of people that think its a BBC, and then 49.9% think its the "454 LSX" crate engine?

Don't worry its going to a good home and will get plenty of use.

I had a similar feeling when parting out my goat, even though it was slow it was just thinking about all the time, effort, and thought that went into it.

Hope your new built goes how well, trust me I will be tuned in. I am sure you have seen there is a 427 LSX for sale in the classified built for boost.
