If you don't want driving issues and this is your only criteria then stick with a stock LS7 cam. Or are you looking for more power and street friendly? Most of the street ability is determined by your turners ability to tune.

Thinking of getting a Crane Cam 236/242 with 624/609 lift. for my 427 with l92 heads. How will this cam workout with my setup. Looking for the most power but with driveablity.

I have a 427ci with a 244/244 .610/.610 114 lsa

It literally idles a nats *** near stock "after it warms up for about 2 minutes". Zero lope, zero bounce, zero shake. Idle is set at 975rpm. I have A/C too.

Tune it right and you can go bigger.

heads will determine cam so you need to figure your heads out first.
fast92 and tfs heads seem to work well.
Or ls7/ls7 as above is nice or on a budget an LS3/LS3 setup. WCCH do nice ported LS3 heads.

So as I say sort your heads out first THEN go cam shopping.
