Default TFS 225's

i have a set of TFS 225's on my 402 build . havent fired it up yet..i dont see a lot of people running the 225's only the 215's or the 235's. is there a reason in this?

well I know on my LS2.. Brian at Kaltech is gonna be putting on TrickFlow 225s cause it matches the block port size. So I would think you are good to go.

The 235 are a really bad *** head so alot of people step up to that or they are looking for down low TQ so just go with the 215 and call it a day

Shed some light on this for me....Local guy I met at the track last night has these TFS225 heads on his C5. 5.7 with LTs, Vengance Cam, Stall, STOCK INTAKE. This thing was only running 12.3@115. He claimed Vengance did the work and tune but I find it hard to believe they would do this combo.

215 will give you a **** ton of tq down low. the 235 you lose that down low but on the big end you get more hp. the 225's are great in between. look at the dyno section and do a search. that is if the search not f up

No we use a lot of the 225s as well on the 400 inch 4.000 bore stuff and they work great as well.

raced a 03 cobra last night on the way home. it was a buddys car and run mid 7's in the 1/8 and waxed his *** pretty good from about a 10mph roll..i beat him before with the old motor but it was by a fender or so.. i got him by a few cars every time we did it..ran from about 10 or so mph up to about 100mph..then did it from a stop and killed him even worse. but i had my ET drags on..lol he has MT drag radials so not a lot in it..cant wait to get this thing to the track, but my oil pressure is lower then expected so i am going to pull the front of and check the pickup tube packing
