engine dies

Default engine dies

I have an LS2 with EFI. When slowing down to make a stop or turn sometimes it will die, not often but annoying when it does happen. I also notice that sometimes when idling it will drop like it wants to die. I'm guessing maybe the throttle position sensor??? I was having some probelms with my sepentine belt and got belt dust everywhere as well as ripped my under hood insulation so can it be dirty. There is less the 2k miles on the motor? Thanks

I hope you find out because mine does the same thing. Post up if you figure it out and I will do the same. Does yours also act cold natured when you crank it in the mornings or after it sits a while? I am going to be taking mine in a couple of weeks to get a tune and dyno'ed. Hoping they figure it out while it is there.

No check engine its in a 71 camaro. Yes it does act cold blooded. Someone said the IAC????

sounds like a vacumme leak. took me a few weeks to trace the one i had down after my engine install.

But wouldn't a vacume leak cause a high idle

i had a vacuum leak once, high idle was the least of my worries....

Still doing it and I have not found any leaks. I am also thinking that I leak would be more constant. If I am just driving around town at low speeds it runs fine but after either really getting on it or steady highway driving it acts up again!! When I come to a stop and push in the clutch it blows right past idle and dies.
