LS7 vs LS3
you can swap out the engine with no modifications needed ( just a retune) other than that if youre wanting to drop in an ls7 with ls1 style heads just get 6.0 heads and an ls1-6 intake and you should be just fine 
(oh and the cam sensor is relocated in the front, im assuming the block has everything all u need to do is splice wires to the rear cam sensor so it can reach to the front of the engine happy modding! ls3s and ls7 swaps are both the same work to do to drop in a 4th gen f-body

If you go with a nice set of heads, the LS7 is the way to go.
They both use late style crank/knock sesors, so it would be similar as far as install goes.

sorry about that guys, I felt that the thread was basically useless and no help to anybody thats why I thought it should get deleted as to not waste anyones time...
All I was asking is if there is any extra work as far as adaptations or fitment issues to make an LS7 fit in an ls1 fbody as oppose to an LS3...

it depends on what setup you are going with
ls3 for boost (due to ls7 smaller cylinder walls)
ls7 na
but that is just my personal preference, there are plenty of people running boosted ls7's at over 1000whp with not to many issues.
