so, this cam is still big for a 427? wow!
when you said the cubes would help with the cam, then you are referring to either a 441 or 454.
i suppose it would be slightly "wilder" in a 418?

thanks!

Hmm...I was hoping to keep lift under .650 for more common valve springs. I guess .010 more might not hurt.

They all 3 runs our own profiles and are at .660 lift. We use a .675 lift spring with all of our kits. You can use a Patriot Spring, but they fatigue too fast. Our Spring has been holding pressure on some of these cams now for over 25000 miles and are still fine when we check em. If you want something that will go 50,000 miles then go with a Ferrea Spring rated at 700. Just make sure and setup your valvetrain correctly and you will not have any problems with either of the springs we reccommend.

Niiiice! Probably too much cam for a 408, huh? Not to mention a 408 with CNC L92 heads...any dyno testing been done with a set of L92's with this cam?

No this cam has not been tested by us with the L92 heads. It would make some power....that I am sure of.

Hmmm...you have caught my interest. What types of gains can be had with this cam and a good set of L92 heads? Would a 408 be to small for the cam? Thanks for your input.

Same here. I'm going the 408+ route and am interested in that setup as well.

We can custom grind a cam for you. Anything larger than the Striker is normally custom a custom grind.

i am assuming ls7 cnc heads? in your opinion, do you think the tfs 245 would go well with this cam. i am thinkin yes, if you staying under 7krpm. how much more up top does she go past 7k? im sure the fast becomes a restriction but i'm just asking.

The heads are CNC'd on this setup, we have since moved to hand porting all of our own heads in house. I always stop the cam at 7000, but I am sure it would pull farther with the LS7 intake.
