Very few companies have the customer service that SCAT has showed! Hats off to you Mr. Lieb!

Reading Mr. Liebs original reply. He made mention of LS1tech subscribers discounts for Scat rods and cranks. It's been almost a year since that reply was posted. Do any discounts still apply to LS1tech members?

it's not a mistake, all the cranks are SAE. stop crying and writing letters whining about how you have to buy the right bolts. if you've been into cars for more than 2 weeks you'd know most things don't just bolt on easy as 1-2-3. if that is your expectation you need to find another hobby. instead of writing a letter why don't you return your bolts and buy new ones? people on this website make me vomit on a daily basis.

Mods need to lock this thread! This was pulled from the grave guy. The scat cranks for LS's are no longer being manufactured SAE. They redid the tooling for the correct LS flywheel bolts.

Then leave. No one is forcing you to stay and/or post.

being a friend of the OP, I can probably say he has been doing this stuff longer then you have been alive.

Not sure if OP has checked this recently but he laid down a solid 511 rwhp and very nice curved 50x rwtq on a local dynojet.

I don't think the OP deserves a new set of bolts or a refund. He made an assumption and is out $26 or a return trip/shipping to swap them.

If manufacturers are held responsible for this lack of reasearch on parts then prices go up for everyone else.

I could have made the same mistake as OP but you can be sure I would have sucked it up and understood it as my own fault.
