Very good point! I may have to pick up a pair for my 440 that are hyd.

So you are using 5.3 heads? How much work was it to get them to work like you wanted them to?

Yes using the 5.3's. I had the chambers opened a bit around the valves to take advantage of the increased room the bigger bore offers. They had already been fully hand ported 2.08 intake 1.575 exhuast milled to 60cc's. Not sure what the chamberwork did for me in terms of power possibly nothing but it should not have hurt. These heads "supposedly" flowed near 320cfm's I never flowed them and dont care to. They are making good power for a GM casting thats all that matters to me. I illustrated below in a pic the area he worked on.
