Lookin to get some more power out of what I have so far. Still have $2500 to play with, and was lookin into some heads just am clueless when it comes for the right combo Here we go

08 6.2L92 motor....L92 heads, L76 intake, 1 7/8 longtubes headers, GMPP Ls stage 2 cam (GM Performance Parts LS Stage 2 Cam Duration @ .050" Lift Intake: 227 Exhaust: 239 Max Lift with 1.7 rockers Intake: .551 Exhaust: .551 Max Lift with 1.8 rockers Intake:.583 Exhaust: .583 Lobe Seperation (degrees): 108 Note). Also have a NX wet kit was thinking about as well.... My mind is on a sweet pair of heads possibly, just not sure which ones to buy that will be a great combo with what i have so far, or get myL92's done and how I should get them done. All help will be greatly appreciated

I'd do heads, ported intake/tb and a new cam.

WCCH has shown great results with threads popping up all over the place with their ported heads and big gains. Not saying they're the only answer but from one keyboard warrior to another Id say you could choose a lot worse.

The cam too should be matched up with the heads I think you could do better there but cant say what cam is best theres still a TON of discussion on that topic and L92 heads so please be sure to post up your results and what you went with afterwards so we can compare.

Anyways those mods and tune and there goes your 2500 bucks but you should add around 50 whp or more if your lucky.

I agree with the previous poster with the heads, cams, and intake. I would buy some CNC L92 heads from TSP, FAST intake 102 mm, and a cam from Comp Cams. Should be close to $2500 right there.

Several vendors and sponsors from the site should help you out.

If you buy some cnc l92 heads, you may be unhappy when you see the l92's coming out this summer. You may just want to sit and see what comes out. But,if you can't wait WCCH had some great heads.

Get some good heads for sure. When I built my motor for my T/A I went cheap with the heads and got a FAST 92 combo, I still made almost 470rwhp through a 9" but if I had it to do over again i would have bought some TFS heads and added the FAST later.
