Default most possible displacement from 5.3?

I been wanting to start a new project and while looking for donor blocks I've been finding a lot of 5.3 blocks for very reasonable prices. 4.8 is the same block and I see those a lot too. My question is if there were stroker cranks available. Overall what is the most displacement I could get from that block

Can go with a 5.7 all bore for cheap with the stock crank or a stroker 4", etc. 5.3 iron and aluminum will bore out to 5.7.

We do iron block 4.8/5.3 383s all the time. They work great. Block is bored to 5.7 bore size and then 4.000 crank.

Yes, I guess GM originally was going to have an iron 5.7 as well since these are VERY thick. Most we have done are turbo or blower deals and they seem to run better and make more power than the aluminum 347s so they must be plenty strong I would say. I wouldn't go larger than that though.

So again that have a 3.9 bore from a 3.799 that's a good bit. So that's all I need for a 383 cubic inch? 3.9 bore and 4 stroke
