From what I've seen reported on here, you won't lose anything. But I'd wanna be sure they don't hit anywhere. As it is, my 1&3/4" Kooks were damn close to the k-member and they are considered one of the better fitting brands along with American Racing's.

Don't worry, these motors make stupid power even with boltons that may not be optimum.

Yea I agree with posts 201 and 202. I know first hand these motors make crazy power. The SLPs I have now fits perfectly. So, as of now, I plan on keeping them cause they dont scrape or sacrifice ground clearance.

I thought I bring this old thread back up to update my next upgrade. It's a little off topic. Anyway, I have ordered a moser 9 inch with wavetrac 35 spline setup. My stroker is still running strong even though I had some problems with the tune. Frost is helping me with the tune. So far, it's alot better than the last one from before. I will be replacing my 10bolt next week when I get my new setup. From a roll, I jacked up the ring and pinion. So rather than dumping money to "beef up" or "bulletproof" the "10bust", I just bought a moser 9 with wavetrac from Bob at Brute Speed. It should be here next Thursday. Man, this setup is not cheap but you get what you paid for. I rather get it done right the first time than having my car sitting at a shop, looking at it shaking my head.

This winter I put L5 flared fenders on the car and replaced the wheels with CCW SP500. I run a 345x30x19's on the back now and that helps a little.

You're going to like the Wavetrac, thanks for the order! Bob

Mine lasted about 1000 miles into the motor. I also went ahead and got a upgraded driveshaft which is good up to 1000hp. Before the hiatus, I scored some kills in it. My car feels like a different beast. Everywhere I go, people ALWAYS ask me about my car. It sounds mean as hell and it sounds great according to other people. Hell, the women seem to love it too. It pulls hard. A big difference stepping up from LS1 to a LS3 427 stroked out!! Did I mention it pulls hard?

I hope these fair better than the Truetrac, which was all the rage not long ago only to fail time after time. $1k for a diff is a lot of coin.

When the company that sold the Truetrac was sold, something had to have changed with the Truetrac as I suddenly started having calls coming in with my customers having problems with them. This was back in 2005 or 2006.
The Wavetrac comes with an unlimited warranty, and I know for a fact that the parent company of Wavetrac backs their warranty 100%, as we broke one several years ago at the old shop. A guy from Wavetrac called me right after we sent it in, and before long they modified their Wavetrac by beefing up the area where we had broken it. Bob
