it seems that would get me to about 13.5 sr with a .041 gasket... but then, Idk where Id be with quench....
Ill probably just stick with what I have, too late for a change like this.
(Since my wishes were disregarded, when I asked for my heads to be milled for increased compression, during my build..)

I was running E85.
The car is actually back in pieces, and Im thinking about pulling the heads. but im trying to figure out how much they would need to be milled and what that will do to my PTV clearance... but Im having a damn hard time getting ahold of someone at WCCH... WTH!
So back-up idea will be "High compression" (11.5) with a few pounds of boost... D1SC or TVS2300 maybe 8psi or so...?

Either talk with wcch or find a local machine shop that is capable of angle milling your heads. I have a shop down the road that's pretty well know angle mill my stuff. Can take the chambers down to 50ish cc. And compression in the high 13s with your average 4in stroke and and flat tops. Costs around 200 bucks and a stock intake still fits.

Well I just talked to Richard at WCCH, really nice guy.
He can get the chambers to ~51cc with a .150 angle mill.. which brings me from 11.4 to 14.3
He brought up that although there are several Z06s running huge horsepower with high compression. They end up being a PITA to street tune....
Idk what Im going to do...
Anybody on here running High compression E85 with some first hand experience...
Its a waste of my motor/fuel system/time/everything else to run E85 at 11.4 compression.

Sweet
Im glad someone else thought that was a good idea. Im not looking for 1000+WHP, just a bit more, 750 or so. exactly!
Everyone keeps missing the point and telling me I need an F1
Thanks

E85 should really be run on setup's in the 12.x.x range to really make it shine. the T/Q gain is nice with E85 and its so consistent in the hot sumerday's. mph never really falls off and no Detention. I have Spun my SBE LS1 as high as 8000Rpm's on E85 with 12.2.2 comp. and motor is out and the rod bearing's look like new. But you will need a bad *** fuel system. Up graded supply fuel line to the motor and 2 pumps that hold proper fuel psi at WOT. I run 60lbs injectors and they are at 85% duty. So a 80 should be close. but fuel psi At Wot is a big key andreally helps with the tune.
