I wouldn't think so. Being a turbo eng. You'd be asking for problems (IMO) boring it close to the max. Its a turbo.. you don't need to bore it at all.

I thought I read in my SC-PC catalog ( looking at it right now) that LS3 alum. block have a .020 max overbore.

Others might still overbore it more with success. I would contact a vendor ( TSP, LME etc... )

i would never go .030 with an ls3 block, id be scared to even go .020 especially with a turbo. But dang, i didn't even wanna go .005 but i did just to clean the cylinders up. atleast i know i got another .010 or so left if something happens. What if something happens and u need a bore or hone? you will be screwed, there will no room to go any further with out getting the block re sleeved, it'll just be worth its weight in aluminium. I mean its only a few more cubic inches and with a turbo what is that gonna be good for? an extra 5-10hp? its so not worth the risk

Im in a budget and don't have the money to re-sleeve the block also im not going bigger because i want to is because i have to!! Number one cylinder has a water mark and it will take about .020 to clean it up!! And don't know what to do ls3 blocks are not cheap neither custom pistons!!

I'd be weery of going .020 over and runt a turbo. Like I stated before, call someone who builds turbo LSxs. Virgina Speed or Texas Speed

It is probably best to take off as little as possible. With FI engines, you'll probably end up making more power by making sure the walls are thick enough, not distorting, and therefore keeping a good seal with the piston rings.
