Default Got my Crank for my 454LSX today..

Just got my Eagle 4.125 crank in today with there ESP Armor Finish in today..
also got a set of there 6.125 rod with the ESP Armor finish to

just waiting on my Wiseco Pistons to come in..... they should ship out tomorrow.....

should be up and running by the on the motor dyno in two weeks

have a few things to try out on the dyno

Using a set of LS3 heads.. Haven't seen many LS3 heads set ups on bigger motors? Guess I'll see what they can do compared to some of the other set ups out there.

Comp will be around 12:1:1

It was a option on there New Cranks
cost like 140.00 for the crank and 90 for the rods

The said it reduces friction between the crank and bearings
in there testing they said they have freed up HP and TQ and reduced oil temps at the same time
also helps the rotating parts sheed oil off the parts reducing drag

This was there tests and two shops that sell there parts

I'll see how it works when i get the motor running..

Looks good! I didn't even get to see my crank when it came in. All my parts were shipped straight to the engine builder.

why did u go with a eagle crank on a 454? budget reasons? im just wondering why tho? everyone bashed on me when i went with my eagle crank on a 408 up until this point no problems what so ever..

I used eagle crank and rods in my last two stroker motors. Never had any issue, just have them ballanced and checked out.

Its funny when you hear everyone jumping on them, saying there just junk. But look in half the mags and all there shop motors have eagle parts in them.... check out any intake or head test mule motor and see whats in it, you'd be surprised

Iv had first hand experance with a few differant Cranks shafts. Unless your going to spend over 2,000 gran on a crank. You just picking what your use to. Its really depends on the engine builder...
