Default exhaust ports
will i be able to use the same headers that are on my 799 heads if i go to a ls7 style head without any exhaust flow restrictions?

If you have 1 7/8 they should be fine

You'll be fine as stated above but make sure you also run the bigger LS7 Exhaust gasket.
