I came to this sight seeking info about how i can better my build.
I overseen the topic of ls7 small bore heads and the company that was attached to it (wcch)![Lurk](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies3/lurk.gif)
apparently they were in the process or making these heads? (not reallly)
I just had a half hour long convo with rich (head of the shops machining dept.)
Told me that he had already made a program for this head but recieved NO inquires about it. no interest so He put it on the shelf and left it alone.
These heads were just a prototype of what they could do as far as how small they could get the bore and achieve optiomal flow. (from what i gathered) "he is far more versed than i am at this stuff"
SO. NO there are no heads that are ls7 (style) small bore heads gonna be ready for a 4 inch bore ls3 or any block alike.
The heads that they have are the l92's and the ls3 (both are avail in stage 3)
GOOD NEWS>![Thumb](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/thumb.gif)
Thanks to me, he is going to make a few phone calls and get some ideas and blueprints around essentially and give me a call back regarding whether or not this concept is a go or no. (also touched on the idea of making two types of ls7 (style) heads that are compatable with ls7 intake manifolds and ls3 intake manifolds.
lets keep our fingers crossed people. I might have just solved everyones head issues lmao.
I cant emagine having a head that could flow 400 plus cfm under 6500 rpms.
ooooooooo![Icondrool](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/icondrool.gif)
Ill gladly keep everyone updated.

That's why I bought the Performance Inductions Ls7 4.0 heads. No one at the time seemed to be interested in making them except for Cary. I have all the respect in the world for Richard at WCCH he has excellent customer service to say the least. And I'm sure if he comes out with a small bore Ls7 head it would be a very nice head like Carys. It seems like some folks prefer the Ls7 style port over a LS3 and cathedral just like me.

do not know.
IM not real savy with all that head stuff.
BUT i am kinda the messenger with these guys, they will give me a call regarding these heads first thing.
and im sure everything about the head will be good.
definitely not going to be just ok.
Hoping theyll be off the charts.

Texas Speed (PRC) is in the process of getting the small bore (4.065+) LS7 heads released not WCCH.

A head designed to really work on a 4.00" bore would be awesome ! I'm looking for a head that can utilize a better intake like the LS7 and use it on a 4.00" bore . I'm looking hard @ the MAST LS3 but would like something more affordable . Performance Inductions has a 4.00" bore LS7 but the cost is too high for me . They really need to have a sale on these heads . Some of us are sitting on tax return money and it's burning quite a hole

Anyway, I would be interested in a 4.0 bore LS7 head provided it had the right valve and spring options.

Wrong. Look at Popular Hot Rodding, February 2010. Some folks built a 370ci Ls iron block motor with a 4.03 bore and put some factory Ls7 heads that come standard with the 2.20 intake valves. It can be and has been done.
