Anyone know what the cheapest alternative is? Chevy found one pair of those heads in TN but they are waiting for customer pickup. Is it worth sucking it up and getting ported ls2 heads? Or maybe just get ls6 heads? Whatever is closest to $800 would be my preference Or I could possibly rebuild my ls1 heads?
EDIT: Anyone know if these will fit? The original heads were 853 castings centerbolt valve covers. It says in the description it'increase compression on an ls1 so I assume they'll fit fine. A little nervous to order.

EDIT2: Just realized they aren't assembled heads...doh

I'm using those Patriot heads on my LS2 build. I was in Alabama working and dropped my heads off at their shop and they told me 2 weeks and 13 days later I got a call they were ready. 900 bucks for valve springs, Patriot Gold, cnc machining, new valves with bronze guides. 64cc chambers. Great guys, give them a call. Bill
