Hi I am going to need new valve springs because I am running a t76 turbo and ls9 cam on my 4.8. Would lsa valve springs be a good choice if i run less than 15lbs of boost? Also, does anyone know the part numbers for these? I searched but couldn't find anything due to how new this engine is I'm assuming.
Would there be a better choice for around 100-120 bucks? I read the ls7 springs are good to .600 lift
Thanks

The LSA uses the standard 12589774 spring found in most LS based factory engines, including the 4.8 truck engine you have.
So, your 4.8 will have the same springs as the LSA, so you will not be upgrading at all by swapping to the same springs lol....
Nothing special is required for the LSA because of the gentleman's cam that is installed.
LS7 springs have a much taller installed height and will not work for you.
FYI the LS9 in the ZR1 vette still uses the regular 12586484 LS2/LS3 spring which are only 90lbs on the seat.
I would throw on a set of aftermarket beehives at least just to be safe for a turbo application.
Good luck!

Camarols1, where did you find that they're the same? Nowhere does it say LSA in the application. The LSA engines run 12 psi of supercharger boost from what I hear.. If that is true, then why would the springs be the same as my 4.8 truck springs. I just bought a set with retainers and seats for 100 bucks so I sure hope they have at least .600 lift
