lsx 427 finally finished
For the last 6 months I have been building an lsx 427. lsx bowtie block 4.00 stroke with a 4.125 bore. Fired it up today and I am very excited. Used a comp custom grind cam with comps short race lifters and crane roller rockers. I was so happy it didn't have the sewing machine sound like so many others. I still have to take it from Ohio to richmond Virginia to let frost do his magic but man this thing sounds healthy. I also used a moroso pan with an accumulator for pre oiling so hopefully no problems there. Had my 4l60 built and still need a rear end and a few suspension pieces but she is almost ready to burn down some tires. I wanted to thank a lot of you for your posts. I learned alot even though I don't post much I just take in all your info and apply it to my build. Thanks

OP if you click the upload button before you make ur posts, it should take you right to ur pics that are on the computer and then u can just add them and hit upload. Confusing now Im sure but when you get the hang of it, its like second nature.

I'll give it a shot after this weekend. My wheels and tires will be getting mounted and balanced this weekend hopefully. It has some shitty painted flat black wheels on it now with 3 different kinds of tires. I'll see what I can do over the weekend.
