For a daily driven car with LS3 engine, I'd recommend Thunder Racing LS3 custom cam:

219/236 .607/.607 117 LSA

I think that this cam will help you reaching your target (500hp on engine) without affecting the drivability (the engine will have stock idle).

If you want something a bit more agressive but you can still live with it on a daily driven car, you can go for Thunder Racing TruTorq Level 3 cam:

223/236 .612/.610 115 LSA

Good luck !

Ok!? was told it should work.

How would a GM hot cam perform with a 1900 converter?

There is no point in running such a smaller converter. You may as well run a stock converter. If you are installing a converter you should go with at least a 2800 stall. It wont be bad at all for a DD. I had a 3200 stall in my G8 and it was great as a DD.
