Need to confirm with spinmonster if a 225shot meth would be fine with my build.. Since I have the heads Milled and thinner head gasket.. Idk man maybe I should just do forged interals?

I can't see forged internals as ever being a bad choice. It's just expensive. 225 shot is a lot of nitrous for a stock bottom end but I know people do it with success. I'd start small--100 shot, and work your way up

Just buy a NEW clutch, not one that needs rebuilt. RST or RXT all the way. Find someone with a NHRA discount and buy it through jegs with a deep discount.

I'm telling you, a 300 shot all day long on that stock bottom end. You'll have the fastest car in NC

I did plan on starting off with a 100 shot at first and building up to eventually a 225... I keep changing my mind so much though.. 2-3months away I might find a killer deal on a sc or TT system..

Nah man car been on stands for a while.. Still playing the waiting game.. Cajunn told me my diff ships thursday... I should be getting all my gaskets, timing set, short shifter in within next 2 days.. Btw I'm heading to Ohio in about 3weeks and I'll be up there for about 3 weeks. I'm going to have on my winter tires though. We can go play a bit but I have a lot of time to make up with the family, friends, and most importantly my little girl.

Nice man! I can't wait until you get sop time with that new clutch/diff set up and hit the track up. I'm really excited to get the diff in and get her tuned. It felt like an rocket after I went from stock to h/c and bolt ons.. I know it's going to be a new animal with gears and tuned.. I'm sure 3.90's read a little low but dyno numbers don't mean much for me.. I'm sure my set up is going to be perfect for me.... Well for now

Yes we can do a 30... I did a 38ish when I raced that c6z and I didn't spin to much but that was when it was untuned and stock gearing..

Great news! Got my new timing set in and all gaskets I need to replace in the mail. I'll be swapping the cam gear today and will have her ready to get tuned for Friday. I won't be stating any hp/tq numbers yet on ls1tech due to a few grudge matchs but for those that want to know I'll message u the numbers. If your from rwhp.us or in my area don't even ask....

After a little over 100 views past weekend and no one replied yet.. So I'll figure I'll keep Yal updated.. Car is complete.. Gave it another oil change even though the previous oil had maybe 800 miles on it.. Installed hi flo oil pump and a short shifter. I'm having over heating issues but it's because a lot of air in the system.. I was suppose to take it to rpm today for tunning... That's on hold until this little issue is resolved

Go figure I get the coolant issue resolved and my oil pan gasket went out on me while I was in route. I also had a small puncher hole in it.. I already got the oil pan out and waiting for the jb weld to cure., re assembly starts tommorw and I still need to take it to get a tune before Friday... My new diff will be waiting at my pops house for install when I get to ohio

Nah it's about up to par with most ls3 h/c ls2's... Don't forget I have the heavy z06 clutch and flywheel and with a lighter clutch/flywheel I can free up a bit more power. Get another 160 stat back in will help a little also. The cam I chose was mainly for drivability anyways. My heads wasn't milled for a max effort n/a build. Moral of the build is, I could of done a lot of different things to squeeze a bit more power out of but I'm happy with how she's performing. Bright side, I get my 3.90 diff on the 18th. Hopefully my buddy will let me borrow his tires for the strip but I doubt it.
