Default My 6.0L LS3 build is finally done!!

After a long wait, my car is up running!! It seems pretty fast too, but no dyno yet..the car was street tuned and build by New Era and let me say that the car drives like a dream!! No bucking, surging or anything, which is good with the 230/236 629 629 cam and 3:42 gearing! Its wayyy more drivable than before, even if the old cam was smaller(22x duration)!!

I did some 2-3-4 gear pull and the car feels strong!! My butt dyno say I have around 40rwhp more than my last setup, which was good for 404rwhp.

The sound of the exhaust is just fantastic and the rasp is completely gone. The down side was major fitment issue and the ground clearance is non-existent; 2-3inches max 1 hanger is already broken from a speed bump(I could not avoid it since it was at the borders USA/Canada

The engine bay was cleaned up and it looks 1000000x better than before, thanks to Ryan at New Era!!

Here is the part list;
-6.0l GTO stock shortblock
-New Era LS3 ported/milled heads 11.1:1 CR
-LS3 intake non ported/fuel rails/injectors
-NW 92mm TB
-85 MAF SLP
-All Gen IV conversion stuff
-230/236 629 629 custom cam
-Lunati double springs
-Double row timing chain
-Trunion upgraded stock RR
-small LID/old age air filter/smooth bellow
-TSP 1 7/8 headers/ORY/Hooker catback

old parts;
-5.7l LS1
-CNC stage 3 98 heads
-old TR 22x cam
-ported FAST 92mm
-Old headers 1 3/4 /crappy design ORY and SLP dual dual catback
-beehive 918
-inferior tune LOL

..and I didnt try the nitrous yet hehe. My tuner Mike said the 2nd is useless on the 150 shot and 3rd is just ok for traction

Dyno to come soon.

I'll post picture of the exhaust and engine bay as soon as the sun is back out there.

Yep, too much money...gotta pay to play. I wish I could hope for internet hyped up results, but my last 400rwhp build was faster than most of the 420-440rwhp internet build. I'm pretty sure my car is a solid 120mph car now, with 3:42 gear, full weight and heavy wheels. I think I did everything right with this build. The FAST intake is not worth it. I'd rather invest in a ported intake.

Anyway, we will see on the dyno. And yes its gonna be a different mustang dyno, on a different year...so It's gonna be a useless comparison. But I will do it just because I'm curious..

Maybe I'll chase the highest dynoing dynojet around town LOL

Other thing to consider is my last set of heads were killer and it had one of the best intake, a ported FAST 92mm. The valvetrain was lighter too with single springs and lighter valve.

I meant the LS3 FAST 102 intake is not worth it....

I doubt it will be just 40 HP based on the increase in displacement alone. Even if there isn't a huge gain in peak HP and TQ the curve is going to be much flatter and the car will be quicker because it has a more usable power band.
