Little update. Car is in the shop. Cam swap is done. Blizzard here, so he wants to street tune it. I'll probably get it Monday-Tuesday.

They're dyno isn't installed yet, will I be ok on a street tune? They're also getting a mustang dyno -_-

Also, turns out the shop is ridiculously LS based. Owned has a built c6z, there was a 9 second c5z street car, he's building a twin turbo 5.3 third gen, etc. they also developed there own bolt in turbo kit. I'll get more info on that soon.

I talked to the guy that was going to install your cam and he seemed very sharp. You should be fine on a street tune, but if there is a blizzard how in the hell will he street tune it? LOL

Don't worry about the Mustang Dyno numbers, they can usually convert them to Dyno Jet numbers if you're really worried about it. The mustang dyno can dial in a VE table a lot better than a non eddy current higher reading dyno jet also so at least that's a good thing for future modifications.

Your car doesn't know whether or not it was tuned on the street or on a dyno, as long as the tune is solid and proper, that's all that matters!

And I meant he has to wait for the snow to be gone in a few days, that's why I haven't gotten it sooner. Haha.

Yep he called to ask some questions about p to v clearance to see what he should expect as far as that goes. I asked him to call me back and let me know what he came up with, but never heard back.

Ok. I figured that wouldn't be an issue. Last I heard was the cam swap was buttoned up and he was finishing up the chain. That was like Thursday, then they gotta tune it. Can't wait to get it back.

My buddy from NY sent me a picture of his street he lives on. All of his cars and neighbors cars are buried under several feet of snow.

That's wild. I lived in South Carolina for awhile, and people there were shocked by tales of snow.
