Default L76/L92 low on power

Just finished the install, put it on the dyno and was very disappointed with the results. Ported LS3 heads, high compression 6.0 with an EPS 232/242 cam and only made 435/409. It idles fine, but will shake pretty good and then smooth out a little through out the pull. None of my other motors have ever had a shake like that. My tuner seems to think I have a cylinder out, but I cant find anything. I did swap the a and c pins on the cam sensor so the tach would work. I attached the dyno sheet to see if you guys may have some input. what really baffled me was the tq dip at the start of every pull.

Did you datalog during the run? During a WOT blast?

Does the PT4000 in your sig indicate a 4000 stall converter?

How much piston to valve clearance did you have with that cam?

I hate to say it but WRONG CAM.

I have seen a certain group of guys specing these high overlap cams here lately and all of the guys that have these similar cams do not produce the power they should and and they complain after due to the fact that the camshaft timing events do not compliment the LS3/L92 heads.

PHP Code:
The converter was locked during the entire run? Why? Do you have a 5-disc lockup that can handle that low-rpm TQ without slipping?

FWIW, when I dyno'd my 427sbc/4000stall, the dyno wouldn't even register below 4500rpms.
EDIT: I was reading up on the DynaPack dyno an the differences between it an inertia dyno. Have you always tuned on a dynapack before, or is this the first time? The dynapack has a different response than the more common dynojet.

Why did you stop the dyno at 6000rpms? Wasn't the valvetrain upgraded along with everything else? That cam/head combo should still be making power to 7000+

Need to look at the scans for converter slippage, knock, rich/lean, etc.. Is your "tuner" well versed in GenIV ?

According to CompCams Ls3 heads flow so good on the intake ( which we all know) that the exhaust needs about 10* more on the exhaust side to compliment it. I happened to be on the phone with them for a while lol.

Glad that you found the problem. Are your mods the same as in your signature such as the 1 3/4" headers. Not including the new camshaft of course.
