That would great if I could reuse the fuel rail/throttle body and just upgrade the injectors.

you can for sure reuse your throttle body and rails. you would want a bigger injector anyway, probably a 39-42lb injector

Any idea where to get an injector of that size? Any other factory compatible injectors or best to source aftermarket. Also will all my sensors from the ls1 bolt up to the ls6 intake?

all your sensor will carry over. I beleive you can make the ls2/3 injectors work with spacers and maybe a pigtail connector...? Im not certain on that part. If not though, theres plenty of injectors on the market.

the goal here is a general rule of thumb is you dont run your injectors more than 80% duty cycle

Ls3s are 42#..

You aren't hitting even 450rw with a budget setup.

Not to be rude... You need to research for hours before you buy every part.

Corrected, i thought they were 39#

I think he can get 450 with some good ported heads and a decent cam as long as the intake is decent.

Some AI 226s, healthy cam, fast 92mm I think he could do it, and not break the bank with a little help from the for sale section

Hey you gotta pay to play! I would hope someone would expect to pay around $3000 assuming they can do the work. And that includes some smart shopping. I was thinking he could pick up a used FAST and maybe even score some heads.

Thats budget to me, ive got almost $2600 just in heads

I see the older fast 90 and the 92 sell for 5-700$ depending on if it was ported out from time to time. Thats really not bad considering the $850+ new price

The car already has a TSP 228r cam in it. From what I've been reading the ls6 flows pretty damn good. Matched with some bigger Injectors and a good flowing set of 243's what else would be needed? (Little stuff)

The ls6 flows good vs the ls1 intake. Compare the ls6 to the fast and the difference is huge.

With good port work on the ls6 heads, and measure ptv clearance and mill them as much as you can accordingly. That should be a nice bump in compression.

The ls3 can run a fast.. Imo it isn't worth the money. 5hp gain over an ls3 intake in most cases.

Stock ls3 or sheet imo.

When you guys say ls3 you are you all referring to the heads or injection system?

If I remember correctly the LS3 intake will not work with the 243 heads correct?
