Default L92 with prc heads-- help me choose cam

gentlemen, i have a few questions

im in need of some camshaft guidance..
i was looking at the 230/234 spinmonster cam from the CF, or the texas speed 235/239 cam.--> or open to suggestions

i have the ls3 PRC 250cc heads with oversized valves--13 degree head

intake valve- 2.170
exhaust valve-1.60

the heads were spec for a boosted application, so the combustion chamber is 70cc.

with my L92 pistons, the compression is 10.5.

whats the most u guys think i can shave the heads without running into PTV and having to flycut

i also have an option to buy ls3 pistons that are new( brings the compression to 10.9) and run those in the motor.

any suggestions.???input?? keep l92 pistons in the motor, or swap for ls3?

all going in a c5z06 with twin disc RXT and lightweight flywheel. - lg 1 3/4 pro longtubes...

**** is gonna DIP... whooot whooot--( excitement burst)

L92 block with with LS3 heads. So basically an LS3 with 10.5:1cr instead of 10.7:1.

Btw with those heads you can still mill them to 64-65cc chambers without ptv clearance issues thanks to the 13* angle valves. Call TSP, that's what they told me. It will bring up the cr to about 11.4:1. The cam will love that.

I'm going to have issues no matter what with ptv.
The head has both oversized valves. - and they opened the combustion chamber to 70cc for boost.
So I mill the head. 030 to get 65cc about.- but I'm sure ptv will be an issue with 235/239

Well that 235/239 cam from TSP was designed to work with stock ptv so you might be alright. You can play-doh it and measure to be safe.

Give us a call or shoot us a email. We can spec a cam biased on your heads and available valve drop to make sure you have no P2V issues. Are you planning on supercharging it later?

We've got a ported LS3 style head/cam 6.2L package that makes 500 rwhp 470 rwtq with a 22x intake duration. Drives wonderful.

Have another ported LS3 style head/cam 6.2L package that just made 698/660 with 10 psi of boost!
