Have a bare set in the shop right now getting 2.180 Ti intake valves, 1.60 Stainless Exhaust valves, and PAC springs. Getting Chambers softened and set up for a nitrous car. Heads look pretty good from TFS, but there is always improvements to be made!

So I guess "as cast" version of these heads aren't available.

Finally got the Am. Racing headers with X-pipe installed along with a Trick Flow CAM LS3 CAM 625/ 625 230/ 238 and the new GenX heads. Overall I gained 100 rwhp and the car sounds great.

TFS-3261T004-C01 (6 Bolt Heads)

"Competition ported. 448 lb. valve springs. With 6-bolt mounting pattern. Will not work with 2010 and later OEM exhaust manifold. Aftermarket headers required."

Only if your block is capable of handling 6 bolt heads?

Sorry, I didn't mean to suggest buy the 6 bolt. I was just pointing out the difference between the 2 part numbers. If you have a stock block LS3 I think you'll need the 4 bolt version.

Here's one we just did in a C6 with a TR6060:
Name: C6withTFS255s_zpsccb15e41.jpg

Very mild custom camshaft, TFS 255's, Fast 102/102 tb and Pfadt 1x3/4" headers.

Who says square port heads can't make torque? Look at that torque! 400rwtq@3800rpm? 462rwtq@5200? I call that a winner in my book.

Nice job Martin...Ive been looking into RHS Pro-Elite LS7 P-port as-cast heads to bring to Greg. Long way off but I bet that with the right cam they'd make tons of TQ and great HP on my 418

I should of actually said that I didn't specify that camshaft. We tune cars for a local Chevy Dealership and this was the sales managers personal car that we tuned for him.

He didn't even know the cam specs, but this cam is super mild and you can tell just from tuning it. Which is why I didn't list cam specs because I don't know them and neither did he. It was pulling hefty amounts of vacuum at idle. He did say it had a fair amount of split in it IIRC with low intake duration from what he can remember.

I'm doing a few cams for these heads right now personally so I will report back when I have results.

I did do a LS3 Polluter cam, these heads with stock LS3 10.8:1 compression and a Fast 102 for a guy in Florida who has been low 10.90's@127-128 on his 2nd trip to the track I believe. In a full weight 6 speed 4th gen F-body with that combo. He's only been 1.62-1.64 60' and racing in 2500-3000DA. Also shifting at 6700rpm right now so he's got some more room to grow for sure. Should be a solid 10.40-10.50 car once it's sorted out.

That combo made 505-510rwhp and 460rwtq through a Dana S60.

Car is at Vengeance racing getting TF 255 heads 64cc to raise compression to around 11.5:1, halltech 107, FAST/NW TB and lighter flywheel.

Car laid down 470/420 prior on different dyno with spinmonster cam/vararam and lg long tubes no cats and bb cat back. Cam specs in sig.

Yer, hope it will be alright, waiting for the heads is killing me, been 2 weeks and no word of sending them yet, not sure how busy they are and how long they normally take to do a set. I sent a message asking what size bore plate they flow test the heads on as I believe they send flow chart with each set of heads they do. Would be good to see what they flow on a 4.185 or like my 4.195" bore. Got a set of LS3 rockers, rails and bolts in mail yesterday, so can add that to my list of bits.
I really want to get the heads so I can order cam. Can't wait to see what Martin Spins up for me. Curios to see what specs he is thinking for me.

For those wondering what i'm building its a LSx 454 620hp 4.185"+ 0.010" crate motor block, destroking with a 4.000K1 crank, 6.125" rods. Custom pistons. TEA prepped TFS GenX LS3 heads with powdered steal guides, light weight intake valves and decked for around 11.7:1 comp. Custom Tick Performance cam. GMPP single plane intake.
Going in a 3100lb Aussie muscle car, Modded TR6060. 3.7:1 diff. 27" tyre.
Just a Tuff weekend play car.
Cheers,
Wes.
