Briou, can't wait to see results from this nice build. Btw, who did you go to for your engine harness? Are you incorporating an aftermarket ECU or stock GM?

Guess who just dropped off his engine at the dyno tech? This guy.....I just left the engine with Jeff Burns at Jeff Burns Racing Engines in Tupelo, MS...There is one engine a head of mine, so next week they will work on getting the engine mounted and wired up in the dyno cell, then it is go time...A guy by the name of Wade Hopkins will be doing the tuning...He, as well as Jeff, have a solid reputation in the X275 world from what I hear. I am beyond excited...and pretty nervous as well....fingers crossed it all goes well...

Got an Update from Jeff...He is waiting on the hub adapter to hook up the crank, but once that comes in we will only be a day or two away from hearing some noise...

Looks sick - what are your plans for air filtration, if any?

Is that a wet sump?

Looks like a mechanical water pump - how are you planning on driving that? I ask because your damper and it look like they are way offset from one another.

Do you have a number in mind you're wanting to see?

I am pulling for you big numbers man! Best of luck! Sorry for the 100 questions...

I have filters to go on the end of each runner.
Yes it is wet sump...the pan only holds 5.5qts, but I plan on running a remote filter that holds a quart, and an oil cooler, all with -12an lines so it should hold around 7qts all together.
I have a pulley that bolts to the dampener, but for the dyno they will just use their electric pump and run the water through my pump...not actually spin my pump, but just use it to hook up to their pump.

As far as numbers...my dream number is 875hp at the crank, but I will be ecstatic with anything over 800hp

Thanks for the detailed responses.

I look forward to seeing the individual filters - that will look so badass under the hood. Just saying "454 Chevelle" puts a smile on my face.

875HP HOLY PETER CHRISTMAS

800HP is still absolutely nuts N/A. I used to dream about twin turbo V8s making that kind of power BHP.

Looking forward to Tuesday. Let's go 800BHP+

not 100% sure on that...going to have to talk to Jeff and Wade about that, but I was figuring 7500-7600 somewhere around there...

D9HP...I just lost it when I read your last post haha that pic is too funny...and yeah I know 800 is still asking a lot, but I think the combo has it in her....a lot of time went into deciding what combo would make the most reliable power N/A
