Took some time off this build celebrating my birthday, well actually the Marine Corps 240 years, so Happy Birthday to all Marine brothers and sisters!.OORAH!! As well as taking time off for Veterans Day to recognized all that served and protect this country of ours.
I started plumbing the fuel system, running -AN hoses and fittings. Next will be the oil filter relocation that the Moroso pan requires. Custom wiring harness won't be ready for another month or so. I will post pics soon.

I'm in the market for a starter....I saw you haven't bought one yet. Which starter are you considering for your build?
thanks

Thanks guys. That MSD looks just right for this engine. I was also looking at a Powermaster XS 9509 as well. This will be one of the last parts I will be purchasing. This build is definitely at its final stage, it won't be too long.

I bet you would have gotten 525 hp if you ran 11:8 comp. I still love the idea of alcohol right from the pump! That's where 13:5 comp would be awesome on the street. Is anyone doing this? I just don't see it anywhere.

UPDATE: Plumbing fuel lines and fuel pressure regulator completed.
Thanks again SSSTANG#1, I plumbed the fuel lines as you suggested. Clean and simple!

Thanks for the compliment.

Wire harness, starter, and a few sensors and should button up pretty much everything for this build. I'm going to pick up the oil filter relocation kit that I ordered thru Speed Inc. as well.

Which sensor do I need in the rear of the LS2 valley cover? Is that an oil pressure sensor? Or an oil sending unit sensor? Thanks in advance.

Thanks, and yes it's the oil pressure sensor. But which one do I need? For an LS1 or LS2? With the different LS type of sensors, its confusing to me. For example, the block requires an LS3 knock sensors. It will require an LS1 3 wire engine coolant temp sensor in order for my 1994 gauge to work. It utilizes an LS2 front timing cover with the front cam sensor. I will be utilizing the LS1 0411 ECM for engine management. Any help and/or suggestions is greatly appreciated, thank you. And oh, I almost forgot, oil dipstick. Do I just use the oem Fbody dipstick or get aftermarket piece? Thanks again.

Man, it has been over a year running for this project. Wish I had the patience and space needed to do a build like this.

pretty sure you can just drill/tap the knock sensor holes in the side of your block to use the LS1 sensors and the harness extension for the cam sensor/KS plugs is only $55 from Summit

Or just delete the knock sensors totally.

You can do this.

I would avoid this. Knock sensors are very handy to have during tuning.
