Called Kip and asked him to get me a price on the Mast valvecovers with the relief pockets on the backside. Dogs got me a photo of the inside and it looks like they will work.

I hate to sell the Carbon fiber valve covers, but if anyone is interested, I'm looking for $475 shipped. That includes the coil mounts.

What I'm thinking of doing is going slightly bigger on the bolt holes of the valve covers to give me just a little more room. Just being able to adjust them up a little bit may do the trick. These valve covers seem to sit a hair lower on one side on both of them. It could just be my eyes though. Lol
When the time comes and I have that problem I was think along those same lines.

Kip may be more stubborn than me. I tried forcing him to take my money for the Mast valvecovers and he wouldn't do it. Cam Motion is by far the best company I've ever dealt with. Mainly because Kip is such a great guy. I will never go elsewhere for my valvetrain needs.

I don't want anyone to be discouraged from doing a LLSR. I've had a couple issues, but it all stemmed from Jesel shipping the incorrect rockers. The correct Jesels fit in there pretty nicely. I would test fit everything prior to installing the heads on the car just to be sure however.

I know Kip is running the same exact setup and didn't have any issues. It could be just the slightest difference in the carbon fiber mold. I'd say you'd never get to sets exactly alike.

New valve covers will be here sometime this week. Hopefully I'll be able to fire it up.

I don't understand the commotion. When you get into the the big roller stuff or outside 99% of builds little hiccups happen all the time. The amount of little machining and little bits in mine i don't want to know

I don't have a big issue with it either. I've learned to have patience when building a car, as well as realizing that things don't always fit perfectly when you're modding a vehicle.

My only issue was with Jesel. They claim "No modification. No aggravation.", but that wasn't the case. The first time turned out to be an error on a salesman's part. They shipped out the wrong rockers, and then said they were correct. So because of that, I grinded the rails on the heads for clearance. Well, come to find out, (thanks to Kip), that they were not the correct rockers.

The issue now is that the raised valve covers don't seem to agree with the rockers. Not a big deal. Just need to find some that fit. I think the Mast valvecovers will work out fine.

Towards the end I was beginning to get frustrated, because I have limited time to work on the car because I work 60-70+ hours a week most of the year. So turnaround time for everything took a bit longer because I haven't had much of a chance to work on it. The frustration came from me wanting to enjoy the nice weather with my new setup. My line of work is somewhat unpredictable in terms of overtime. I could have none this week and work a month straight if we have issues with a unit.

All in all, I wouldn't change a single part if I had to do it again, even Jesel.

Lol. I guess it wouldn't be so bad if this car was at least a year old, but it won't be one until June and it's already on its second cam setup.

My wife hates it, but she gets it. Somewhat...lol

What exactly are you building? Looks like a monster in that photo you posted.

lol awesome. I love seeing people make the change over and feeling like a I had a hand in it. You won't be disappointed. You'll really be surprised with the throttle response. This thing revs like my old hondas use to.

What rockers did you end up going with? Mind sharing cam specs?

Forgot to mention you need to cut the reliefs for jesels in the mast covers yourself. Heaps of material though

What did you do for your breather? I see that these don't have a shield to keep oil from slinging into the line.
