I saw them this weekend at LS Fest West. AFR claims that they outperforms the Trick Flows in back to back testing.

They just see how much $ they're missing out on. I'm surprised they changed the valve angle.

It's doubtful AFR would build and launch this head only to be as good as TFS 255's.
Is there a cease fire in the Cath. Vs. Rectangle thing?

Just wondering. In all these ls3 vs cathedral comparisons does anyone else think that the (efi only) intake has anything to do with it?

I would think there are many instances where that would be true....

OK.....so Tony designed these heads.....with the strong probability that the end result is (very) similar to his ported TFS design? Really?

Too funny!

Who designed the TFS head? This might get really entertaining.

My understanding is that AFR and Tony still have a close relationship. It would not surprise me at all if he was still doing their research work.

Well.....the basic design of the TFS heads is less of an issue.

Tony Mamo does killer work on the heads that he ports, so a set of TFS heads can go in to his shop and will come out, a totally different animal.

Sooooooo.........the real and crucial question is; "How similar are the AFR heads (designed by Mamo?) to the Mamofied TFS heads?"

If Tony did designed this heads, and if they're designed of Tony's CNC'ed Trick Flow heads, then......DAMN!

Rick said that Tony designed them. I did not ask about the dynamic of their relationship now that Tony is doing his own thing. I got the impression they still work together.
