Anyone with any experience with this cam? I can't find any videos or dyno results anywhere. The specs are 232/244 on 112.5 LSA. I have an LS3 swapped into an 01 z28 with a yank 3600ss stall and wanting to run a set of PRCs ported stock LS3 heads. I've been looking hard into this cam or the Tick stage 2 LS3 cam which is 229/244. Can't make a decision which would work better with these heads

I'm going to say those lobes missed heat treat or wasn't properly heat treated. Imo if it were from poor engine maintenance all the lobes would look like that.

Cam Motion posted a dyno with a 229 duration cam which made impressive HP.

What are you talking about?? The first post makes no mention of defects of any kind!

Used a Titan 3 in an LS3 it was 227-237, loved the sound of it, sold the car before it was properly tuned.

What exactly are you referring to? There are no flaws mentioned in the initial article!

I'm running a similar cam in an A4 C5, with a 3,200 stall Yank, in an LS7. Futral cam, ground on Cam Motion lobes. 232°/250° duration, .602"/.608" lift, on a 112°+4 LSA.....

I think there's a glitch that when posting it gets put in the wrong thread. I've had that happen before.

Both cams will have similar street manners, assuming they’ll also be within 5-10 hp of each other. Here’s a dyno from Cam Motion on the Titan King LS3. It’s right on their site.
