Default LSA PTW clearances.

What's up everyone.

I'll try to simply this as much as possible, looking for a run it or re-think it answer.

Engine - OEM LSA Long block. ARP2000 rod bolts/all new bearings top to bottom.

The problem i'm running into is PTW clearance.
Machine shop states the cylinder bores are roughly (not clamped down when mic'd) 4.0675

I've already bought OEM LSA pistons and rods which have a OD of?? 4.06x? I can't find a single thread of someone measuring the oem LSA piston OD.

My budget is dry from all the other stuff i had to buy and replaced when my old block grenaded out of the top bottom and sides, leaving my entire old longblock useless.

Is .006 PTW clearance too much?? Going to get brand new rings and file them accordingly as well. Am i over thinking this?? .006 too large?

thanks ahead of time.

One time a had a Chevy 350 that burned oil but it ran well. Pulled it apart and it had .022" cylinder wear lol

What year is the engine and what did it come out of? I'll get the factory specs, if it's not too new for my AllData.

Honestly .006 sounds a little loose... maybe can get by throwing a forged piston in it

The problem with throwing a forged piston in it would be having it line honed with a torque plate, buying a set of forged pistons; which i should attach to a decent rod and rod bolts. and have it re balanced. In the end spending another 2.5k which i do not have at the moment..

It would run but probably make a lot of noise from piston slap, especially when it's cold.
