Default Is Reaching 500WHP realistic?

I have an Iron block 6.0 bored to now a 6.2
stock Gm ls3 rods
stock Gm ls3 valve relieved pistons
and truly that’s it all that’s changed.
Stock stroke, stock crank.
What head, cam, intake combo would work best to achieve my crazy idea if crazy at all? Is it possible to reach 500WHP with the right cam head and intake combo?
Will be ran on 93 pump gas.

also what stall converter is recommended

going in a 4 door Silverado with a 4L60E
weekend warrior, take to car shows, drag a dumb kid in a stock camaro type of thing.

Here you go.....May need to add some compression as the Manual trans doesn't eat as much as the auto you've got. Good baseline to give you a idea of what's needed.

Really wish it told me the specs. All that does is tell me it’s possible with some worked LS3 heads. I know it’s possible. But how. And with what cam, heads and intake manifold.

You could also call Kip at Cam Motion or Tooley Racing and they'll have a cam package that will pretty much place you where you wanna be. Kooks headers are good but kinda high in cost. I went with Headman stepped headers from BRP with there engine mounting kit. Sorry about the time delay doing paperwork to transfer my house.

In your Silverado, it will perform like a sluggishly off the line.....

Ideal setup for a sportscar; not so much for a truck.

But yeah.....you'll have 500 HP.

Understandable and I’m aware completely. It’s going into a bagged Silverado man. Just looking for that 500 mark as something only I would know and to be happy with. But I want to do this right. Have a lot invested as this is only one of the steps to my build.

Gear and stall make all the difference. Uncles old 13 to 1 compression 355 with iron heads darn show isn't sluggish let it rev and this was with a carb. That's how you kill sluggishness. Most guys are looking for some kind of manners....... Gear and converter that matches Cam and car or truck weight. Some peps don't get leverage and how to make heavy stuff move. Your OD trans will help with mpg Vs a T400 and 4.56's. Drove that truck everyday around 500 miles weekly. To and from 18 wheeler truck yard in League City and we're on the north side of the city.

I really actually tossed around the idea of a TH400! Would be something cool to have. Probably will just stick with my 60E. But that’s what I was thinking. If i can find that 500HP number to the wheels with a cam head, intake combo then I’ll run a stall and gears to match and she should move out well enough to put a smile on my face and to shock somebody next to me who thinks they’ve got something.
