I ordered what I thought was an OEM set of rockers for my build. I was surprised when I get them to see the exposed needle bearings out the side. The stock rockers that came off my engine are on the bottom. New ones on the top still in packaging.

Did GM update the rocker design or something?

Me neither. They are going back. I initiated a return.

 

Have you considered modifying your stock rockers?

 

I've seen them both ways in stock untouched engines.
