new cam timing chain question
I'm going to aftermarket cam in my 5.3 with 3 bolts holding gear on cam. I currently have a one bolt cam. What can I do for new gear that my cam sensor (in the timing cover) can read.

You can get a 3-bolt 4X timing sprocket quite easily. See WS6store for great prices and service.

58x Timing Set
Hi Sal, I too provide a Timing Set for the 58x decode.
The gears are billet steel, heat treated.
The Single Chain is the strongest made for the LS engine AND has "pin" oil holes.
The Lower Sprocket has the ability to allow correct Camshaft Timing.

Timing chain
Do I still a line top gear at 6 o clock and bottom gear at 12 o clock. And do these gears have any factory advances built in them or do I have not to worry about it.
