Default TFS 235 vs PRC LS7 Small Bore on 416 LS3

As the title states, which would you guys do?

The LS7's seem to flow 30-40 better on the intake side, but also are down a fair chunk on the exhaust side compared to the TFS Cathedrals.

Going in a car with a 4k stall that will be street driven far more than track time.

Jake, do you have any experience or have any links to track/dyno runs for the haymakers? They look nice, I just haven't seen much of them. MLRE and Brodix are releasing a new cathedral head that looks really good.

Funny thing is the results would look like the TFS 245 VS 265 head testing.

If he wants something special get Libery ls3 - 11 degree heads(400 ea) and $1k port program Meant for the combination. Reason i'll never get OTB. i like feeling somethings Meant just 4 me and what i'm doing.

CSA matched to & for the combination

I don't know if FED is worth 1200 more than the Haymakers. 400cfm is still plenty, yo.

Did the haymakers really underperform or what?

Better casting, bigger spring pads, custom valve angles 10 or 15 degree. Things you get with the FED head.

Hell just looked Darth, RHS ls7 valve lengths for ls3 heads. Raised runner.

Hell yea! 2yrs looking, Chris list valves 5.6 inches long RHS ls7 valve length. No other valves are this long for a Ls3 or Ls7.

Hp vs Cost? 20-30 more hp maybe from a head swap.

Long story short, I'm going with the TFS 245's again.

Had the originals cut down to 64cc. Which in an of itself is not an issue since that's only about .036"

But... the engine came back from TMS having been cut about .017" as well per side (no idea why), so things got way too tight for the FAST 102 to fit. Really not a fan of using a thicker gasket to make up for the amount that Thompson cut off because that pushes my quench up into the .050's. No good.

I found a buyer for my 64cc TFS 245's and was just considering a few other options to replace it with (uncut).

Ultimately wound up going with the 245's again.
