I normally run footbrake but this weekendi tried a hit on the transbrake. I think for some reason it created excess pressure. Im supposed to talk with FTI in the morning.
Been a while fellas, hope everyone is good. Over the winter we replaced the broken powerglide, had fti spec out a new stall (now 6k), and we changed the gears to 4.56. I made my first hits of the season yesterday. It went 1.33 60 foot (new best), 6.33 1/8 mile (new best), I hit the rev limiter before the 1/4 mile but still went 10.06. I'm gonna swap the gears back out to the 4.30's and try again

Pretty happy tonight....New best 60 foot of 1.32. New best 1/8 mile of 6.32. New best 1/4 mile of 10.04.....geezus can't i even catch a real good tail wind or something for that 9.99 pass! Also, a good friend of mine has been building a turbo 6.0 S-10, and he finally brought it to the track tonight! He sprinted to his truck when they called us to the staging lanes just so he could line up against me, but his feelings got hurt real bad when that big N/A stroker busted his turbo'd *** with my 10.04 to his 10.42.......he was uncharacteristically quiet the rest of the evening.......hehehe!!!

Im thinking maybe stroker engines have a faster acceleration mate especially the more aggressive combos.
